South Woodham Ferrers District is a very active and thriving District. The various units within the District regularly organise activities and events not only to help develop individual skills and abilities, but also to help raise money for worthwhile causes.
At present much of the fundraising that the Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Sections are involved with is towards equipping our new HQ. For more information about this local project please visit our HQ page.

On Thursday 21st January 2016 Essex South East Guides held the Jack Petchey Foundation Presentation evening at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon. This year three SWF girls, Kayla (4th Guides - now a Young Leader with 1st Rainbows), Bethany (3rd Guides) and Emilia (2nd Guides) won awards each receiving £200 for activities/equipment for their unit. Congraultions to all of them.
